How Direct Admissions Works
Direct Admit Offers: Institutions can send admission offers directly to students. Students can either accept or decline these offers. An accepted offer is referred to as a 'match'.
Student's Role: Before receiving an offer, students must disclose which schools they have applied to or received decisions from. Initially, the tool shares only the student's profile information with institutions.
Enhanced Features (Upcoming): Future updates will enable the uploading of transcripts and the ability to pose institution-specific questions to students, further customizing the admissions process.
CRM Integration
For institutions using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems:
Data Fields: Upon a successful match, four additional data fields are populated:
CV Match Status
CV Match Date
CV Scholarships Awarded
CV Application
Navigation and Usage
Accessing Direct Admissions: Users start from the CollegeVine homepage and navigate to Applications to reach the Direct Admissions homepage.
Offer Segments: Within the Direct Admissions interface, users can create, update, and pause their auto-offer method. All offers awaiting student review are located under the 'Pending Offers' tab.
