In these languages, the agent can understand incoming messages, respond fluently in writing, and communicate accurately over the phone. This ensures a consistent experience across chat, email, SMS, and voice interactions.
Broader written-language capabilities
In addition to the fully supported languages above, the AI Recruiter demonstrates broader capabilities in written communication.
In writing, the agent can understand messages in many additional languages, including those not formally listed as supported. Testing has shown comprehension of languages such as Kurdish, Belarusian, Haitian Creole, and Pashto.
For many languages that use the Latin alphabet, the AI Recruiter will often respond in the same language. However, this behavior is not universal. For languages that do not use the Latin alphabet, the agent typically responds in English, even if it correctly understands the original message.
Because this expanded written support is not formally standardized, performance may vary. For admissions-critical workflows, we recommend relying on the fully supported language list above.
Phone interactions
Language support over the phone is more limited than in writing.
The AI Recruiter reliably understands and communicates in the fully supported languages listed earlier. It does not reliably process languages outside that list in voice interactions.
If your institution expects significant phone engagement in a specific language, we recommend confirming support with your Partnership Manager before launch.
Using non-English content in your Vault
You can upload non-English materials directly into your AI Agent Vault, which serves as the knowledge foundation for your AI Recruiter.
When interacting in supported languages, the agent can reference and incorporate relevant non-English materials stored in your Vault.
