What are staff interviews?
Staff interviews are a feature that allows you to train your AI Recruiter by enabling a one-on-one conversation with a staff member. Think of it like speaking to a new employee who is eager to learn everything you know. The format is casual and flexible—you can interrupt, correct yourself, circle back, or elaborate as much as you like.
After each interview, the platform will automatically generate a summary that captures the discussion. You can review this summary, make edits, and once approved, the insights become part of your AI Recruiter’s knowledge base.
How to Set Up a Staff Interview
Follow these steps to initiate a staff interview:
Log in to your CollegeVine account.
Navigate to AI Recruiter > Vault > Knowledge Base > Staff Interview > Start an Interview.
Select the interview type. You may choose from a pre-loaded list of topics or create your own custom topic.
Enter the phone number of the staff member to be interviewed.
Click Get the Call. A call will be made to that phone number to begin the interview.
Once the call is completed, a summary of the discussion will be automatically generated in the Staff Interview section on CollegeVine.
A draft version under the selected topic and the name of the initiating user will be available for review.
Click Review Insights to make any edits or updates to the summary.
After reviewing, click Save and Approve to publish the content.
The finalized summary will now be incorporated into your AI Recruiter’s knowledge, enhancing how it answers questions and interacts with students.
