Once the Transcript Reader has been launched—and GPA calibration is complete—the recommended process is to upload transcripts to the SFTP in batches.
Uploading transcripts
Transcripts should be grouped into batches before being uploaded.
For each batch, include the following in a single zip file:
1. Transcript PDFs (<any filename>.pdf
)
2. A CSV key file named index.csv
Column 1:
application_id
(full application ID)Column 2:
filename
(the exact name of the matching PDF transcript file)Column 3:
school_code
(a school ID. This can be either the CEEB code or GUID)
Please ensure a unique batch name is used for each batch uploaded to the transcript reader (i.e timestamped - 20250527T1530
). While the number of transcripts in each batch can vary, the overall volume should align with the corresponding contract term.
Processing and output
Each batch is processed within the 48 hour timeframe. After processing, output files will be returned through the same SFTP connection. For more details on the contents of these files, refer to our article on output files.
Note: Schools must not submit multiple transcripts (or formats) within a single PDF. If they have multiple transcripts/formats, it’s better to submit them via individual PDFs with the same application_id
