Reindexing URLs previously added to your vault allows you to rescan your URLs for any content updates and ensure your Recruiter has access to the most up-to-date web content.
To view the last time your URLs were reindexed, click into the website domains.
CollegeVine recommends assessing and reindexing any URLs that have changed at least twice per year. You may want to do this more frequently if your websites change often.
You can re-index individual websites by clicking the three dots next to the URL and select "Reindex".
To reindex multiple webpages, click on the group of websites you are trying to reindex.
Then select the Re-index button.
Here are common reindexing errors and guidance for how to resolve them:

HTTP 301 Moved Permanently | The requested URL has been permanently redirected to a new location. | Verify and update the URL to the updated/corrected path. |
HTTP 403 Forbidden | CV is being blocked by a firewall or the site is password protected. | If the site is password protected, you will need to copy the content into a doc, and add to the "Upload Materials" section. |
HTTP 404 Not Found | The requested URL does not exist. | Verify and update the URL to the updated/corrected path. |
HTTP 405 Not Allowed | CV is not able to complete the request because the URL is not allowing the command. | Download the webpage as an HTML file and upload to “Upload Materials” section of the vault. |
HTTP 429 Too Many Requests | CV has attempted too many requests in a given time. | Wait 20 minutes and try to re-index again. |
Net::ReadTimeout with #TCPSocket:(closed) | The server didn’t respond before timing out. | Wait 20 minutes and try to re-index again. |
SSL_connect … certificate verify failed (unable to get local issuer certificate) | Site misconfiguration (i.e.- Missing or outdated CA root certificates locally; server misconfiguration; self-signed certificates) | Contact your web team. |
