Publishing your knowledge assets

Updated over a month ago

Publishing your knowledge assets is the final step that makes tested updates available to your agent. When you publish, you commit your latest changes to production so your agent can reference the most accurate, up-to-date information.

Publishing is also required when you remove an asset, ensuring that deletions are properly reflected in the agent’s communications and activities. This process keeps your agent’s behavior reliable, consistent, and aligned with the content you intend it to use.

Regularly check the "Change" box for unpublished asset additions or deletions.

Steps to publish

1. Click the box indicating there are changes ready to be published.

2. Click Publish

Publishing and change indicators:

  • When you make changes that have not yet been published, you will see a purple visual indicator highlighting that updates are ready to publish.

  • While your changes are actively publishing, a spinner will appear within the Publish button to show progress.

  • After publishing:

    • You will see a confirmation message when changes are successfully published.

    • You will see an error message if publishing fails, so you can review and try again.
