Getting around the platform

The CollegeVine platform is organized in the following ways:


Agents

This is your full list of agents. Click any agent to select it and load its settings, workflows, and insights in the sidebar below.

Workflows


Workflows outline your agents capabilities, whether its email missions, email marketing, or network DMs. You can view your institution's live, drafted, or archived workflows.

Insights

Insights is the reporting dashboard for this agent. Saved reports and pre-built metrics cards live here. Use + New to create a custom Insight (chart or metric) or a History report (event log). See: Reporting

Settings

Agent settings is the configuration specific to this agent, including:

  • Persona — name, avatar, personality, branding, contact info, and social media

  • Channels — outbound email address, SMS number, phone number, and webchat widget configuration

Knowledge

This is your shared knowledge base. This is where all assets (web pages, documents, interview recordings) live. From here you can search and filter assets, review new interviews pending approval, refresh connected web pages, delete existing assets, and add new assets. Each asset displays its tag (which determines which agent can access it) and its current status.

Constituents

Your full constituent list. This section has four tabs:

  • Constituents — your student list with search, filter, and CSV export

  • Segments — dynamic groups built from filters (used to target agent actions)

  • Properties — custom data fields you've defined, including type and permission settings

  • Provenances — a read-only view of where constituent data originated

Integrations

Integrations shows the configuration for data integrations. This is where you manage your Constituent Sync and Asset Sync — the SFTP-based connections that import student records and associated institution files. (Note: "Asset Sync" here refers to SFTP file imports from your institution, not knowledge base assets.)

Your account menu

Click your avatar or name in the bottom-left corner to access account-level options:

  • Help center — opens the CollegeVine help center

  • Recruiting Network — links to the CollegeVine Recruiting Network
