How will I receive the outputs from the Transcript Reader?

Outputs will be written back to the student record in the CollegeVine platform. For each individual student, you will see new columns added to their student profile. These new columns can then be ingested back into your CRM.

You can define what specific columns you would like added to the student record, so these can be ingested into your CRM. Typical columns that we often include are:

  • Your Custom GPA Calculation

  • Course Counts (e.g AP / honors)

  • Extracted Information from the Transcript, including:

    • Courses, incl credits

    • Grade earned

    • Difficulty (e.g., Honors, AP, IB)

    • Academic year (e.g., 10th grade, 11th grade)

    • Term details (e.g., Semester 1, Fall 2023)

    • High school name

    • Class Rank / Class Size

If there are additional values that you would like added to the student record (i.e highest course taken), these can added.

If you commenced processing transcripts prior to April 2026, you will have received these outputs across individual files. See articles here and here for further details on this.
