How to review history and tracking

CollegeVine keeps a record of every interaction your agent has had with each constituent. At any time, you can see cumulative interaction data and a full history of all constituents, even those you are no longer targeting.

Reviewing prior cycle performance

Before you archive missions or swap segments, pull a snapshot of how the prior cycle performed:

  1. Go to your agent's Workflows.

  2. Click on a mission workflow you want to review.

  3. Navigate to Insights, then click Standard Reports to view delivery, open, and response data.

Data tied to a mission remains accessible after the mission ends or is archived. You won't lose reporting history by cleaning up old missions — but it's worth reviewing before you make major changes, in case you want to note anything for planning.

Viewing a constituent's interaction history

To see the full history of interactions for a specific student:

  1. Go to Constituents in the left sidebar, then click the Constituents tab.

  2. Search for the student by name.

  3. Click on their record to open the profile.

  4. Navigate to the Timeline tab to see all interactions, outreach events, and property changes for that constituent.

What carries over between cycles

Constituent history is cumulative. Interaction logs, outreach records, and engagement data from the prior cycle remain attached to each constituent's profile. You won't lose that history by updating segments or launching new missions.

What changes when you start the new cycle:

  • When you update workflows to use new segments, the agent begins engaging based on those new rules going forward.

  • When you upload updated property values for existing constituents, those values will overwrite the prior ones.

  • If you delete constituents, all their history is removed permanently.

💡 If you want to preserve a snapshot of prior cycle data for internal reporting before making changes, export your constituent list from the Constituents tab first.

Exporting your constituent list

To download your full constituent list:

  1. Go to Constituents in the left sidebar, then click the Constituents tab.

  2. Click Export.

This downloads a CSV of your current constituent list, which you can use as a record before you make updates.
