The Admin Agent is a conversational AI assistant built into your CollegeVine platform. Instead of building reports, exporting data, or navigating between tabs to find answers, you can ask questions in plain language and get a direct response. It's available to any admin user with access to your platform.
How to access it
Open the Agents tab in your CollegeVine platform. The Admin Agent appears as a separate entry at the top of your agents list.
Select it to open the conversation interface. Type your question or request in the message field and send.
What you can do
Ask questions about your account. The Admin Agent can answer questions about your pipeline, outreach activity, student segments, and agent performance. You don't need to know where to look in the platform -- just ask.
Questions to try:
"How many students are in my prospective student segment?"
"What are the most common questions my help desk is getting?"
"Show me outreach activity from the last 30 days."
"Which students haven't responded to any messages this cycle?"
Analyze uploaded data. Upload a spreadsheet or data file directly in the conversation and ask the Admin Agent to summarize it, identify trends, or pull specific numbers. This is useful for reviewing constituent data, campaign performance exports, or any file you'd otherwise analyze manually.
For example: upload a list of your leads by stage and ask "Which stage has the highest drop-off rate?" or "How many students are from out of state?"
Get account context without navigating. Rather than opening multiple tabs to piece together information, you can ask the Admin Agent directly. It pulls from your account data and surfaces what you need in a single response.
Tips for getting good results
Be specific. The more context you give, the more accurate the response. Instead of "How are we doing?" try "How many inbound SMS messages did my prospective student help desk receive this month?"
If a response isn't what you expected, rephrase or add more detail. You can ask follow-up questions in the same session to refine the answer.
What to keep in mind
Each session is private to the user who runs it. Other users on your account cannot see your Admin Agent conversations, so your testing, analysis, and notes stay your own.
Credits are included with your account to get you started. Your CollegeVine team monitors usage and will reach out if anything needs attention.
