This varies on the type of communication your are sending! Below is a quick summary of what you can expect.

Email communications:

How many emails can my agent send daily?

  • To protect your sender reputation (so emails land in inboxes instead of spam), CollegeVine automatically places a daily send allowance on your domain

  • The daily send allowance is not a fixed number, but rather fluctuates based on engagement metrics like open rates - meaning strong student engagement will help accelerate capacity over time (with a floor of 200 minimum emails sent daily)

  • The daily send allowance includes both email marketing and Missions emails

For partners onboarding, you can anticipate your daily send allowance will increase ~30% daily. This will also fluctuate based on actual open rates.

Similarly, for partners that pause sending emails for an extended period of time, you can anticipate your daily allowance will temporarily drop, and need to ramp back up at a similar pace.

How often can my agent send emails?

  • Email-marketing messages will automatically go out to leads up to 1x every 3 weeks. This is the default setting. If you'd like to adjust this setting, reach out to your Implementation Manager

  • Emails sent via Missions will be sent based on the cadence you set! Learn more here

Outbound phone communications:

How many phone calls can my agent complete daily?

  • There is no set cap to how many calls your agent can make in a day

  • Keep in mind, there are other restrictions that may influence if a call will go out or not:

    • Time: By default, an agent will only call leads from 3-8pm daily in the student's timezone, to avoid calling them during school hours. If you'd like to adjust this setting, reach out to your Implementation Manager

    • Phone number: As a best practice, confirm each of your leads had a phone number in the correct format uploaded to CollegeVine via your bi-directional sync. Learn more here

Outbound SMS communications:

How many SMS messages can my agent send daily?

  • There is set cap on how many SMS messages your agent can send in a day, however, there is a cap of 36k that can be in the queue at once

  • Similar to phone, there are other restrictions that may influence if a SMS message will go out or not:

    • Time: By default, an agent will only call leads from 3-8pm daily in the student's timezone, to avoid calling them during school hours. If you'd like to adjust this setting, reach out to your Implementation Manager
